patient care
Dr. Lynskey and her staff are committed to excellence, both
personally and professionally. We are focused on being patient
friendly, both in the personal relationships we form with our
patients and their families, as well as with the orthodontic
techniques we utilize. Dr. Lynskey and her team are highly trained
in the most innovative treatment techniques and utilizing state of
the art equipment to provide superior care and customer service.
Some examples of the patient-friendly, state of the art services we provide are:
- Ultra-flexible, space age wires make treatment faster, more
comfortable and convenient; resulting in adjustment visits every 6
weeks.
- Invisalign, the clear removable aligners that sequentially
reposition teeth. They are often referred to as
"invisible" or "removable" braces.
- Fixed, or permanent, orthodontic retainers maintain straight
teeth and minimize the hassle of retainer loss or breakage.
- Optimum treatment timing allows Dr. Lynskey to determine the
best time to start treatment. Early orthodontic treatment while
permanent teeth are still developing can decrease cost, time in
braces, and reduces the risk of permanent tooth extraction. More...
- Non-extraction treatment. Creating beautiful smiles can often
be achieved without the loss of permanent teeth.
At Dr. Lynskey's office beautiful smiles are created in a
laid-back, yet professional atmosphere. Modern orthodontics can
enhance your appearance, overall dental health & function, and
self-esteem.
Dr. Lynskey wants to be accessible to her patients at all
times. If you have any orthodontic questions, please feel free to
email her at drlynskey@stunningsmile.com
meet our team
Dr. Victoria Lynskey
Hi I’m Dr Lynskey and I feel very blessed to be an orthodontist! I began my orthodontic career in Nashville, TN working for a large multi-office group before relocating to California. For 4 years I managed a practice in Castro Valley before I chose to start my practice here in Santa Rosa. I selected Santa Rosa because of the wonderful weather, which is important since my favorite activities take place outside…swimming, biking and running.
I opened my Santa Rosa practice in 2003,
and moved into our new remodeled office
in early 2004. This office has all the high-tech toys we orthodontists need for diagnosing and treating our patients, yet it feels homey and comfortable. The staff and I, as well as our patients, have a lot of fun here and hope you have a wonderful experience as well. On a personal note, I spend time away from the office training for and teaching first-timers how to do triathlons. I also enjoy cooking, hiking, extreme sports and spending time with friends.
I am a diplomat of the American Board
of Orthodontics, and a member of the
American Association of Orthodontists,
the American Dental Association, and
their state and local alliances. In addition,
I am a member of the Junior League of Napa-Sonoma
benefiting the lives of disadvantaged youths. A
mission of my office is to continually give
back to this community with personal and office
commitments. Each year we as an office participate
in multiple community events…the Harvest Fair
race, and the Human Race to name just two.
We’d
love to have you join us in celebrating Sonoma
County!
Mackenzie, Treatment Coordinator
and
Office Manager
Hi….my
name is Mackenzie and I am Dr. Lynskey’s
Treatment Coordinator and Office
Manager. Before becoming the
first member of Dr. Lynskey’s
team 3 years ago I worked in
dentistry for 4 years. My job
duties include welcoming and
educating New Patients and their
families, as well as helping
navigate the challenges of insurance
benefits. We as a team like to
think of this office like our
home, and each time you come
in, we want you to feel like
you are guests in our home. Coming
to a doctor’s
office for the first time can
be overwhelming for some, so
I make sure I am always there
with a big smile to make sure
you feel welcome.
In addition
to my regular work in the office,
I coordinate our Continuing Education
Seminars where we educate local
dentists on current topics in
dentistry and orthodontics. I
also regularly contribute to
our newsletter “Straight off
the Archwire” by answering frequently
asked questions about insurance
or finances or scheduling…anything
related to the business side
of your orthodontic care.
The
love of my life is my son Daniel
who is 3 years old. Because family
is so important to me when I
am not at work I am with him
and my large extended family.
I was raised here in Santa Rosa. As you will learn, I am very social and love to have a good time. You can say that I am a tom boy because I love sports (especially football and more importantly, the Raiders), and anything adventurous (four wheeling, paintballing, rafting, skiing/snowboarding, etc.) I haven’t gone skydiving yet but that is my next adventure.
Cassondra, Sterilization Technician
Hi…my name is Cassondra, and those who know me usually see me in the front office scheduling patient appointments. I am making my way to the back clinical area with Kim and Dr. Lynskey to assist them as a Sterilization Technician. When I started working for Dr. Lynskey over a year ago I had just finished a dental assisting program. Working in the front office has prepared me for the challenges I may face in the clinical area.
Dr. Lynskey maintains a rigorous training program
and follows the strict recommendations of the CDC,
ADA and our local regulatory compliance and infection
control experts. This is a challenging position as it entails making
sure you & your child’s health and well-being is
safe by sterilizing & maintaining the instruments
and equipment Dr. Lynskey uses to make your smile
beautiful!
Now let me tell you a little bit about myself. I have lived in Santa Rosa for a little over a year but I was born and raised here in Sonoma County. I’ve been married for 5 wonderful years. My husband Eric and I have a little dog named Princess who we absolutely adore! I love spending time with the both of them as well as all of my nieces and nephews. I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, shopping and traveling!
Nora, Appointment Coordinator
Hi... my name is Nora and I am the newest member of Dr. Lynskey’s team. I am the Appointment Coordinator. I am your go to girl when you need to schedule and reschedule your appointments. When you arrive for your appointment my goal is to get you in and out of the office so you will not be waiting for long. In the reception area I prepare seasonal beverages, such as our warm apple cider in the fall or our “Love Potion” or “Leprechan Brew” in the Springtime.
I have been in the dental field for a year and
fell in love with it because I always get to meet
so many new people and get to build so many wonderful
relationships.
I was born and raised in Santa Rosa. I have a fox
terrier named Coco who I love so much! In my spare time I hang out with my family and friends going out to eat and watching movies. A perfect day for me would include and hot day at the beach or swimming pool & barbequing with friends and family!
Kim, Registered Dental Assistant
Hi…My name is Kim and I am Dr. Lynskey’s Registered Dental Assistant. I have been working with in this office for 2 years and have been in the dental field for 10 years. When you come to visit Dr. Lynskey’s office you will see min in the clinical area. I am her right hand gal back there to make sure your orthodontic experience is always and excellent one! I am there at the start, taking impressions that assist in diagnosing your orthodontic needs, and will be there when you cross the “Stunning Smile Finish Line”
My interest in the dental field began at an
early age with a great curiosity about my own
teeth. When I was a kid if I felt the slightest
wiggle of a baby tooth it would be out before
the night’s end! I also had braces and oral surgery all by the age of 15. Of course my knowledge has grown quite a bit since those days and continues to do so. Our office does frequent continuing education courses that keep me well informed on the newest technology in orthodontics.
When I am away form the office I spend my time
with my family and friends. I grew up in Sonoma
County so the majority of my nearest and dearest
live locally. I’m also a big animal lover, with a small army of pets consisting of 1 beta fish, 3 tabby cats and 3 Boston Terriers. In my spare time I mostly enjoy fishing or getting away for a day at the beach.
I hope this let you know a little bit about me and I look forward to getting to know you!
